Our warm and professional approach is grounded in the belief that individuals, couples, and families have the capacity to develop new coping strategies that enhance their wellbeing and overall quality of life. We are committed to delivering evidence-based psychological care tailored to a wide range of challenges, supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families to navigate life’s difficulties with greater resilience and confidence.
We provide specialised support for those who have experienced distressing or life-altering events, helping clients build emotional regulation, insight, and a renewed sense of stability. Whether working with children, adults, or entire family systems, we prioritise creating a compassionate, safe, and non-judgemental environment where each person feels heard, understood, and supported.
Alongside individual therapy, we offer couples and family counselling focused on strengthening relationships, improving communication, and addressing complex dynamics. Our goal is to foster healthier connections, resolve conflict, and support more cohesive, resilient family systems through tailored, evidence-based interventions.

Assessment
Mental Health Assessment
A mental health assessment is a comprehensive evaluation used to determine an individual’s emotional, psychological, and cognitive well-being. It involves a combination of clinical interviews, questionnaires, and standardized tests to assess mood, behavior, thinking patterns, and coping abilities. Healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, or mental health nurses, conduct these assessments to diagnose conditions like depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, or cognitive impairments. The assessment considers medical history, lifestyle factors, and social circumstances to develop a personalized treatment plan. Early and accurate assessment is crucial in providing appropriate interventions, improving patient outcomes, and promoting overall mental well-being.
Cognitive & Educational Assessment
Cognitive and educational assessments evaluate an individual’s intellectual abilities and academic skills to identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential learning difficulties. Cognitive assessments measure problem-solving, memory, reasoning, and executive functioning, often using IQ tests and neuropsychological evaluations to diagnose conditions like ADHD or dyslexia. Educational assessments focus on academic performance in reading, writing, and math through standardized tests, curriculum-based evaluations, and diagnostic tools. Both assessments help personalize learning plans, support early intervention, and improve educational outcomes by tailoring instruction to individual needs.
Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS)
(Previously known as Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal (VOCAT)
The Victims of Crime Assessment is a structured process used to evaluate the physical, emotional, psychological, and financial impact of a crime on a victim. This assessment helps law enforcement, healthcare providers, and social service agencies understand the specific needs of the victim and provide appropriate support, such as medical care, counseling, legal assistance, and financial compensation. It also plays a crucial role in determining the severity of trauma, guiding intervention strategies, and ensuring that victims receive justice and protection. A comprehensive assessment often includes interviews, psychological evaluations, and risk assessments to tailor support services and promote the victim’s recovery and well-being.
All assessment results are compiled in a detailed psychological report with a summary of clinical observations, background information, medical history and standardised test results (if required). The substantial report is finalised with recommendations in relation to academic, social, behavioural and emotional functioning.
Group Programs
Group therapeutic programs provide a supportive environment where individuals, including children, can share experiences, develop coping skills, and improve emotional well-being under professional guidance. These programs include psychoeducational, cognitive-behavioral, support, and skill-building groups, tailored to specific needs such as anxiety, trauma, or chronic illness management. For children, therapy often incorporates play, art, or storytelling to enhance emotional expression and social development. Individuals benefit from peer support, reduced isolation, and improved communication, fostering a sense of belonging and resilience.
